Abstract
Abstract In recent years, new power systems have been developing continuously, and the operational risk assessment of new power systems under extreme disaster conditions has attracted much attention. This paper uses Latin hypercube sampling technology to establish a power system failure model under extreme disasters and proposes a new power system risk assessment method that applies the power system power flow model to establish a comprehensive system risk index. In addition, taking the power grid of a certain province in eastern China as an example, a case analysis is conducted on the IEEE39 node system to verify the effectiveness of the method.
