Abstract
To meet the needs of deep-sea oil and gas development, floating production units has come into being. However, oil and gas leak will release a lot of inflammable, explosive and toxic substances that may cause fire, explosion, poisoning, environmental pollution and other major incidents. To solve these problems, this paper establishes offshore oil and gas leak risk analysis and control method to make sure the safety of offshore oil and gas production and environmental protection. Quantitative risk assessment of hydrocarbon releases on the offshore oil and gas production equipment is proposed. Then the control technique of hydrocarbon releases is developed, based on principles of inherent safety and process preventative barriers. On the above basis, the risk-based offshore unit asset management approach is proposed. In addition, the operator management measures are carried out based on the human reliability analysis. The above principles and methods are used in offshore oil and gas production units, achieving the theoretical and technical innovation. The systematic risk analysis and control method of hydrocarbon releases has high practical value and good economic benefits for deep-sea development.
