Abstract

Abstract The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ has been the very pillar of Christianity from its beginning. It stands or falls with the historicity of Christ's bodily resurrection, that is, whether it happened as an event in history. Paul in his letter to the Corinthian Christians clearly stated, “If Christ is risen, your faith is futile; you are still in our sins” (1 Cor. 15:17). Thus, if Christ's resurrection did not occur in history, a Christian's faith is no better than no faith at all.
