Abstract
Abstract This investigation covered more types of rubber and rubberlike synthetics than were studied by previous investigators. From the results it seems apparent that at least a part of the disagreement between previous workers on this subject is due to the different types of rubber employed. It is also important to note that the temperature changes observed were of the order predicted by sensory observation.
