Abstract

We give an example of a uniquely clean ring R which is not bleached. This example shows that if a ring R is USC then neither R needs to be uniquely totally bleached nor upper triangular matrix ring over R needs to be USC. Also, we give a necessary and sufficient conditions for an upper triangular matrix ring over a ring R to be uniquely strongly clean.
