Abstract
L’histoire des villes de Marv et d’Hamadān durant l’epoque sassanide est examinee a partir des donnees sigillographiques et numismatiques. Tandis qu’un nouveau sceau administratif d’un sahrāb d’Hamadān montre la continuite du statut de cette ville tout au long de la periode sassanide, les monnaies frappees a Marv temoignent de l’histoire politique mouvementee de celle-ci, integree ou non a l’empire, et de son importance privilegiee pour la dynastie.
