Abstract

Wireless power transfer (WPT) links can be realized in an efficient manner by using the theory of conjugate image impedances. Unfortunately, so far, and to the best of our knowledge, it has only been possible to compute the conjugate image impedances for the two-port networks. In this paper, we introduce a novel iterative procedure for computing the conjugate image impedances also for three-port networks. This enables us to accurately solve the wireless power transfer link design problem for one transmitter and two receiver case. Numerical and experimental verification of the proposed approach are also presented.
