Abstract
In the present paper the effect of rigid inclusions in Griffith crack under different conditions are examined in the light of Weiskopf's theory of granular solids using Fourier transform technique. Quantities of physical interest, i.e. stress intensity factors and crack energy have been derived in closed form and finally the numerical results are illustrated graphically.
