Abstract

The extraction of deep fractured and compromised endodontically or parodontically teeth is a routine procedure for any dental practice. The extraction technique is of considerable importance for the bone loss in the course of the extraction as well as the post extraction period of healing. The post extraction bone loss is estimated to 40%60% for the first six months (Cristensen GJ) Bone presence is important for the further prosthetic recovery, especially when further implant treatment is under consideration.
