Abstract

By expanding the harvest index from 2 to 3 or even up to 4 harvests in a year, Salibu aims to boost land production. Using the legowo cropping system, two rows of rice plants are planted together to create a large chamber that extends in one direction. In order to determine which varieties are best for rice’s Salibu and to establish a pattern of relationships between characteristics and grain weight yield per clump of rice plants, this study will examine the physiological and growth characteristics of the five rice varieties in the first Salibu of the Legowo planting system. This study used a split-plot design with four replications and a fundamental design of Fully Randomized Block Design (CRBD) in Karang Tengah Village, Purbalingga. Inpago Unsoed 1, Inpari 24, Inpari 32, Inpari 43, and Logawa were the kinds that were used. The findings demonstrated that the amount of chlorophyll, flowering duration, and panicle length were significantly influenced by variety. Stomatal density, the number of active tillers, and the number of grains were traits that were tightly connected and had a significant direct impact on yield. Consequently, these traits could be employed as selection indications for rice with high yield.
