Abstract

AbstractThe uptake of radioactive RNA precursors into growing oocytes of insect ovaries was studied. In addition to incorporation of radioactivity into RNA, labelled nucleosides were also observed in the egg. Some of this radioactivity is bound covalently to yolk glycoproteins.
