Rhythmical Role in the Classical Concert’s for Clarinet and Orchestra Cadency

Abstract

Analysis of the rhythmical features in cadency discovered the genre roots and traditions, which influenced the development of characteristic traits of European instrumental music. Analytical methodology of the study helped to illustrate expressive properties of rhythm in the wind music of the classical period. Metro-rhythmical patterns in improvisational forms of cadence are important for developing improvisation skills, being a necessary stage of a performing musician’s development.
