Abstract

Based on an analysis of experimental data on the presence and equivalence of reciprocal lattice sites and on the symmetry of the R phase in TiNi and the ζ1-phase in AuCd and the superstructure which precedes them, the general form of the concentration and displacement waves for these phases has been established and all of the order and displacement parameters have been found. A classification of the possible structures is given based on the idea of structure groups and all structure types for these phases are revealed. All binary and certain possible multicomponent superstructures are given and identification of experimental data has been carried out.
