Abstract
The chiral dirhodium(II) carboxamidate complex catalyzed hetero-Diels-Alder reaction between Rawal’s diene and aldehydes is developed with high yields and enantioselectivities. Comparing with the previous state of the art, the TADDOL-catalyzed reactions, this new method is very attractive for its low catalyst loading and short reaction time.
