Abstract
Rhetoric and style relate to the same field of knowledge—a matter that causes the dialect of whether they are treated as synonyms. This research hypothesizes that this dialect is the outcome of the western culture which is grounded on intellectual and cultural facts relate to the western societies, its languages and its cultural heritage. Therefore, rhetoric for them, as a concept, go back to what Aristotle defines as the art of persuasion. The case is different in Arab’s culture and its rhetorical heritage. Thus, the relationship is different as well as the view towards these two concepts is also different. Such differences between East and West can be seen as the point from which the dialectic of the subject emerges.
