Abstract
A systematic study of variables affecting viscosity and pipeline flow of concentrated slurries was made. These were volume fraction of plastic beads, shear rate, particle size, size distribution and L/D. Ranges covered were for shear rates 100–700 sec −1 particle size 57–136 μm and volume fraction 0.20–0.55.
