Abstract

The rheological properties of epoxy urethane oligomers (EUOs) synthesized at different stoichiometric ratios of reaction groups NCO : OH have been examined over a wide range of temperatures and shear rates using rotational viscometry. The effect of the NCO : OH ratio on the kinetic parameters (dynamic viscosity increase constant and gelation time) of epoxy polyurethane compositions curing at a temperature of 25 ± 1°C have been revealed. Evaluation of the adhesion tensile strength of cold-cured adhesive EUOs joints is presented.
