Abstract

Various methods for sampling preparation in the analysis of high-temperature nickel-based alloys (acid dissolving and alloying) are described. It is shown that the optimum method for transfer of rheniumand ruthenium-containing samples into solution is dissolving in sulfuric acid with addition of hydrogen peroxide and utilization of a 20% NaOH solution as an absorbent. The technique requires no separation or masking of components of the sample base. The validity of test results was checked by methods for variation in the charge and additives and by comparison with data of other analysis methods.
