Abstract
Case report of a 4 months old child with systemic involvement of cross-striated muscle tissue of different grade of maturity in alveolar septa and bronchial walls of a hypoplastic lung. After a morphological description, a short review of the literature is followed by the discussion of formal pathogenesis of this rare pulmonary malformation.
