Abstract

In this work, we propose a novel color image encryption scheme based on symmetric keys using the synergistic approach of Arnold transform, 3D logistic chaotic map with XOR operation, and affine hill cipher technique. All these methods work together and generate a strong cipher to abstain people from illegal access to data. The simulation results of the quality indicators and comparison with the existing algorithms ensure the security, performance, and effectiveness of our proposed scheme.
