Abstract

Korea has recently been witnessing the ongoing standardization of mobile RFID services for the purpose of providing new services by loading RFID readers in mobile telecommunications terminals. Unlike logistics-based RFID codes, the codes of these mobile RFID services provide the necessary information for searching the location of online content of relevant codes. This paper discusses the design of a code system for mobile RFID services and defines a tag data structure that enables mobile RFID services to operate normally under an environment where other RFID systems configured with different code systems coexist; thus preventing conflicts. It also explains the URI search procedure for the desired online content through code resolution using the proposed code system.
