Abstract

In this paper, second-order RF Q-enhanced filters with center frequencies of 2.4/4.7 GHz are presented. The prototype designs are implemented in a 0.18 /spl mu/m standard CMOS process. The filters achieve a SFDR of 43/35 dB at a Q of 250, while requiring only 0.3/1.2 mW when powered by a 1.5 V supply voltage. This is the first reported CMOS Q-enhanced filter capable of operating in the 5 GHz band.
