Abstract

Today in the information revolution, the use of software tools is valued more than content development, and hard copy is being replaced by electronic files. This poses some interesting questions for technical communicators. First, what is the impact of the email and the Web on written communication? Second, is paper an obsolete method of producing information? The paper discusses a Silicon Valley company's Web site and CD-ROM.
