Abstract

Pebuahan Beach is one of the beaches that experienced high abrasion. The results of monitoring coastline changes at Pebuahan Beach during the period from 2004 to 2019 using remote sensing from the Landsat satellite show that the abrasion area is 145,549.32 m2. Abrasion that occurred at Pebuahan Beach is the impact of the Pengambengan Port which causes the sediment transport to be hampered. Various efforts have been made by the local community and the government to overcome the increasingly retreating coastline at Pebuahan Beach with environmentally friendly structures. However, the revetment and geotube structures in the form of sacks and geotextiles filled with sand have not been effective. For this reason, a hard structure is needed which is planned based on the characteristics of the Pebuahan beach. The breakwater made of dolos was chosen because it has better hydraulic stability. The results of the analysis show that the dimensions of the breakwater with dolos have a height of 4.74 m and a length of 115 m with a distance between breakwaters of 57.5 m. The width of the top of the building is planned to be 6.52 m with the weight of the first layer of stone being 0.5 tons, 1.19 m thick, the weight of the second layer of stone being 50 kg and 0.62 m thick, while the core layer stone is designed to be 2.5 kg.
