Abstract

A case report is presented in which lateral dislocation of the femoral component from the polyethylene meniscal runners occurred in a sliding meniscal knee prosthesis caused by a fall. Revision consisted of removing both polyethylene meniscal runners and replacing with a solid bicompartmental polyethylene spacer (sliding plateau) which fitted into the slots of the tibial component without the need for removal of the metal components.
