Abstract
New whole-rock Rb–Sr isotopic data from the Lac du Bonnet Quartz Monzonite pluton, combined with previously published analyses, yield an increased date for that pluton, the latest stage of major intrusion in this section of the Archean, English River Gneissic Belt. The age of the pluton and the associated metamorphism is revised from 2495 ± 180 m.y. to 2680 ± 91 m.y.
