Revised Landau hydrodynamic model and the pseudorapidity distributions of charged particles produced in nucleus-nucleus collisions at maximum energy at the BNL Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider

Abstract

By using the revised Landau hydrodynamic model and taking into account the effect of leading particles, we discuss the pseudorapidity distributions of produced charged particles in nucleus-nucleus collisions at high energy. The theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental measurements carried out by PHOBOS Collaboration in different centrality Au+Au and Cu+Cu collisions at the maximum energy of $\sqrt{{s}_{\mathrm{NN}}}=200\phantom{\rule{0.28em}{0ex}}\mathrm{GeV}$ at the BNL Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider.
