Abstract

In the 145 pages of the text, the author presents a variety of topics that are of real concern to today's elementary school teacher of arithmetic. The book is highly recommended for teachers whose training predates the “modern math” era. The approach is kept at the most elementary level and presupposes only a knowledge of traditional arithmetic.
