Abstract
This volume is composed of a series of articles by different authors reprinted from a symposium published in the journal Progress in Cardiovascular Disease and is intended to review the possible applications of radioisotopes in the study of cardiovascular disease. The symposium covers the use of radioisotopes in clinical studies of the central circulation, the measurement of the cardiac output and the blood volume. Chapters are devoted to selective quantitative radiocardiography and coronary arterial blood flow.
