Abstract
March culminates the National Education Association's annual Read Across America campaign. This reading motivation and awareness program calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on or around Dr. Seuss's birthday on March 2. The Teaching Children Mathematics Editorial Panel encourages you to use books to inspire students to develop a love for both mathematics and reading. Motivating children to read is an important factor in student achievement and creating lifelong, successful learners.
