Abstract
This beautifully illustrated book is written for an audience of seven- to ten-year-olds with the purpose of “combining the teaching of problem solving and arithmetic in a way that is challenging and fun for kids.” This book can be used in both small and large groups, and at home as well as school. Each two-page spread contains an eight-line verse with an accompanying illustration. The verse ends with a question asking students to apply problemsolving skills to the illustration. The answer to each riddle is in the back of the book.
