Founded in 2012 by Christopher Cotter and David Robertson, the project features an international board of directors, staff, and contributors. RSP’s stated aim is “to bring contemporary issues in RS to a wider audience and provide a resource for undergraduate students of RS, their teachers, and interested members of the public.” As a teaching tool, RSP offers resources on both traditional religions and religious issues as well as on current events, such as the new Satanic Panic, Evangelical opposition to climate change, and “conspirituality” (the blending of conspiracy theories with spirituality).
