Abstract

A strip of land utilized by utility company to construct, build, operate and maintain the transmission line and inturn to provide service to consumers is known as transmission line right of way. Electric field, audible noise and radio interference are considered for determination of the width of right of way. Electric and magnetic field have hazardous effect on human health. By changing the transmission line design parameters, the effects on electric field, audible noise and radio interference is studied.
