Abstract

With the transformation of biomedical model into bio-psycho-social medical model, psychosomatic relationships of cardiovascular diseases have received increasing attention. In most cardiovascular diseases, there are both biomedical and psychosocial factors in the pathogenesis. Moreover, there are both physical and psychological symptoms. More and more studies have showed that emotions are closely related to the incidence and mortality of cardiovascular diseases. This article will introduce the influence of emotion on cardiovascular disease from the following aspects, the related concepts of emotion, the research on the relationship between emotion and cardiovascular disease, the biological mechanism of the effect of emotion on cardiovascular disease and the behavioral mechanism between emotion and cardiovascular disease.
