Abstract
Microwave filters play a major role in wireless communication systems. There is a limitation in spectrum allocation, so one should design the component that selects exactly the required frequency of the signal and attenuates other signals. There is very high demand for the reconfigurable microwave filter due to its tunable nature and multiband operation. This paper presents a review on recent techniques involved in microwave filter design especially for reconfigurable microwave filter. It also discusses about the application of microwave filter and reconfigurable filters.
