Abstract
Details are given of the activities of the European Powder Metallurgy Association EPMA, which was founded seven years ago. Data are given on the production volumes of metal powders and parts made from them in Western Europe in 1991–1996. The structures of these products are described. A survey is presented of powder metallurgy development trends in Europe in the hear future.
