Abstract

An international symposium “Foreign Materials in Food” was held in Lucerne, Switzerland, on April 8 and 9, 1965. It was organized by Professors Drs. H. AEBI (Bern), E. GRAND JEAN (Zürich), and o. HÖGl (Bern), under the auspices of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences, the Swiss Society of Research on Nutrition, the Swiss Society of Preventive Medicine, and the Federal Commission for Food, Legislation, and Food Control. Distinguished Swiss and foreign specialists in the matter of food additives were invited to take the floor.
