Abstract

This review discusses a collective monograph authored by researchers from the Center for the Study of Sociocultural Changes at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, titled "Sociocultural Studies of Post-Soviet Transition in Russia". It provides a brief summary of both the monograph itself and the reviewer's reflections on the centre's years of research. The reviewer notes that this book not only summarizes the center's recent research but also delves into methodological questions, discusses the issue of the social state, problems of modernisation, the structure of Russian society, and questions related to Russia's civilisational development.
