Abstract

In recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in the incidence of thyroid diseases, posing severe challenges to the traditional diagnosis and treatment methods. As a result, artificial intelligence technology has emerged as a valuable tool in the field of thyroid medical imaging, offering substantial support for auxiliary diagnosis and treatment in the future. In this paper, the application of artificial intelligence in the field of thyroid medical imaging is divided into three parts: image segmentation and texture analysis, benign and malignant diagnosis of thyroid gland, and postoperative analysis and prediction of thyroid conditions. Through an examination of recent research datasets and an analysis of the medical imaging process, this paper investigates the application of various algorithm models in these three areas and provides a comprehensive overview of the latest research trends. Furthermore, some certain directions for future research are also provided in this work.
