Review of models, issues and applications of digital watermarking based on visual cryptography

Abstract

In today's world of digital communication it is must to provide the security to the digital media. As digital media is used in almost all types of communication, security of this media plays important role to keep the integrity the original media. One such technique used to provide the security of digital media is combination of visual cryptography with digital watermarking. This paper reviews the different existing models of visual cryptography with digital watermarking. The different issues in the existing model are also compared with respect to implementation, advantages, disadvantages and their sustainability in case of different attacks. Further the applications of visual cryptography with digital watermarking are also mentioned.
