Review of EV's Wireless Charging Technology

Abstract

Development of electric vehicles (EV) is the demand for energy-saving and low-carbon economy. The charging device of the electric vehicle is equivalent to the filling station of the automobile fuel, and the wireless charging technology is a new type of electric vehicle energy supply mode. With the continuous development and progress of technology, the wireless power transfer (WPT) technology has attracted wide spread attention recently. Especially in some specific occasions, the WPT technology has its unique advantages, which do not exist in the tradition V-MODE based on the wired power supply, to greatly improve the reliability, convenience and safety of power supply. In this paper, on the basis of in-depth study of literature, the development, application situation and the latest progress of wireless power technology are introduced, problems of wireless charging technology research are pointed out, which provides a new way for further research.
