Abstract

Antonio Higuera takes us, through the life stories of three Jehovah's Witness converts, to understand the religious change in Quintana Roo, one of the three states that make up the Yucatan Peninsula in southeastern Mexico. Through them, he also shows us how the institutional structure has a decisive influence on the trajectories of conversion, resulting in the reorganization of the family life of those who seek to find eternal life.
