Abstract

American education reform has been a topic of continuous discussion and debate for several decades. After World War II, the country has witnessed significant transformations in its educational system, with several rounds of reforms aimed at improving the quality of education for students. This paper presents a review of the direction of American education reform, including its history, progress, challenges, and emerging trends. The paper also discusses the characteristics that emerged during the reform process, including the speed and pace of reform, the focus on adult and vocational education, and the achievements and challenges faced by the American education system.
