Abstract

Treating mood disorders in children and adolescents with electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) should be considered in severe cases which do not respond to other treatments, researchers have found in a literature review. There are mostly case studies, but many are moderate‐sized and across different settings, with an alignment of findings, according to the research.
