Abstract
Russell Deacon's book advertises itself as a one-stop guide to devolution in the UK. It seeks to explain the basics of devolution to a UK audience in terms of history, culture, institutions, elections and parties, the process of gaining devolution and the working reality of devolution. It is intended for Higher and A-level students as well as first year undergraduates in Politics and follows a textbook-style format throughout, with key questions, web links and guides to further reading.
