Abstract
Carbazole ligand (Im(2)Cz) forms a dimer complex ([(Im(2)Cz)(4)-Zn(2+)](2)) that has multiple pi-stacking interactions, after which the complex changes to a simple (Im(2)Cz)(3)-Zn(2+) complex that has no pi-stacking carbazole ring via increased Zn(2+) concentration.
