Abstract

By using the normal-ordering technique in the coherent staterepresentation, we discuss the dynamical evolution of the coherenceof a Schrödinger cat state in a high Q cavity coupled to anotherresonator in the presence of external fields. During the progressionof the coherence, we pay particular attention to the effect of theexternal fields, as well as to the initial phase of the Schrödingercat state.
