Abstract
The method utilized a two-position, 10-port valve that enabled direct injection of filtered citrus juice into an HPLC system. separation was by reversed-phase ion-pair HPLC with selective amperometric detection. Treatment with a folate polyglutamate hydrolase enzyme provides evidence for the existence of 5-methyl-THFpolyglutamates in Citrus juices.
