Abstract

Recently we reported that right ventricular failure (RVF) was reversed by chronic treatment with the α1A-adrenergic receptor (α1A-AR) agonist A61603 (PMID 30412439). Reversal of RVF involved an increased level of the mitochondrial anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2, suggesting that protection of mitochondria played a role.
