Abstract

Two measures commonly used to assess corporate reputation, the Reputation Quotient and the Corporate Character Scale, were tested and revalidated in Thailand in a survey of 385 customers of Tesco Lotus. The factor structures of both measures, as defined when developed in the West, were confirmed. Some individual measurement items were found to be less appropriate in the Thai context, but generally both scales were found to be valid.
